Amanda Blazka

Amanda is a junior from Pennsylvania majoring in Human Development & Family Studies and double-minoring in Sociology and Film Studies. She is extremely thankful to have found her place at UConn within the Ballroom Dance Team and views competition days as the best days of the school year! She has competed since freshman year and her favorite styles are Smooth and Latin. In her spare time, you can find her obsessing over classic film, crafting, playing the Clarinet and eating an obscene amount of junk food. Although she may be an intimidating 5’ 9,” she is extremely approachable and is willing to meet and help anyone on the team. She is super excited to serve as Secretary!

Victoria Dumeng

Hey dancers! My name is Victoria, and I’m so excited to be helping out as Team Captain this year! I’ve
been on the UConn Ballroom Team for about two years now and am a Silver dancer in Latin, Rhythm,
Smooth, and Standard. In just a short while after discovering ballroom, I knew I had found my passion,
and I love being able to enjoy it with everyone in club and team. My goal is to create a space for
everyone to discover, enjoy, and learn more about ballroom in the fun, supportive atmosphere that I
was welcomed with. If you ever need anything or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! Really looking forward to another wonderful year with all of you!
